Green smoothies are becoming more common with ingredients ranging from supplements to all types of fruits and greens.
I’ve been making green smoothies for awhile, and in its simplest, most delicious form, I think my ultimate green smoothie is the best go to recipe for everyday green goodness.
The Ultimate Green Smoothie
Almond Milk (or fat free milk… or whatever milk you want)
1/2 Banana (or the whole banana, whatever tastes the best to you)
Optional: Protein Powder
1. Add 1 Cup of milk
2. Add 1/2 Banana
3. Fill the rest of the blender with spinach. Fill it up all the way, don’t be shy the more greens the better!
4. Blend, Liquify, Blast, annihilate the spinach until you can’t see any bits of spinach left.
When to drink the Ultimate Green Smoothie?
I use this as a post-meal replacement. After a tough workout I’m typically not hungry, so drinking a spinach smoothie with protein powder is a great way to refuel. Also, if you usually skip breakfast try adding in this smoothie to your morning routine.
